Let's help children in need as they head to school

Across our city, well over 100,000 children will attend a primary school this year. Far too many will start the year on the back foot, without the resources they need to learn and flourish. Sadly, that creates consequences for a child’s future.

There is hope! You and your church can be part of the solution.

You can bless and serve your local primary school so that children have the resources they need to flourish.

We’re partnering with Back2School Project, a local Christian-led charity providing fully stocked school bags for primary school children in need on day one of school. Back2School Project are experts at school stationery.

Volunteer during Packing Week

This year, volunteers are needed to pack & distribute 750 school bags to 21 Auckland primary schools. Packing Week is a great way to help children in need across our city. It’s a high energy and fun event.

Dates: January 13-17; 20-22

Location: Mitre 10, Lincoln Road, Henderson

Sponsor a child

$100 will provide a child with a fully stocked school bag.

The child will choose their own bag from a catalogue, and receive it fully stocked prior to day one.

This gives them the dignity & resources to learn alongside their classmates from day one.

Your church on local mission

We believe your church is the hope of your community! If you want to bless and serve your local primary school, we’d love to help.

Whether or not you already have a relationship with the school, let’s work together with Back2School Project to help children flourish.
